Founder’s Note – From Shashi Kant & Mani Tyagi

I failed class 12th—not just once, but three times in a row. At this point in time, most people had lost hope in me. But I was still hopeful and chose to believe that I had been born to do something big for myself.

Years later, a unique opportunity came upon me—when I helped and sourced high-quality hair in India for a client—and thus let me know about the bad practices and lack of ethics in this industry. This is where I found the inspiration to build something better.

This level of “better” turned out to be Gemeria Hair—a brand created from great courage and passion to create a difference in the industry. From the first day, our focus was on creating 100% human hair extensions that are sourced ethically from clip-free toppers that have lightweight wigs that work in solving problems for people who have hair issues.

This journey won’t be complete without the creative heart behind our products—Mani Tyagi, who is more than just the face of Gemeria Hair but a real creative genius behind almost all our designs. Mani not only has the expertise for hair extensions with over 8 years of experience but also a deep empathy as a woman for what hair does to our identity. Each Gemeria product, whether the bio-based toppers for hair thinning or wigs that are just made for you, and hair extensions that look like they are your natural hair, all these are made with technical precision along with emotional intention.
