Well, for our first blog we thought of busting some myths related to hair extensions, and this article will definitely help you out :) so keep on reading...

If you're new to the world of hair extensions, a first-time buyer, or in the market for new hair extensions and can't get beyond the horror stories you've heard about hair extensions, this is the area to go.

MYTH #1:
It Will Leaves Your Hair DAMAGED, BROKEN, AND EXTREMELY THIN As A Consequence Of HAIR EXTENSIONS.
False
This long-held belief may be relevant to more permanent hair extensions implanted using heat, glue, or clamps. On the other hand, hair extensions are the safest style of hair extensions because they are only worn for a few hours at a time as needed and then removed before showering or going to bed. Clip-in hair extensions do not harm your hair; if used, removed, and cared for properly.
As initially mentioned, several hair extension application methods are available, all of which should be thoroughly researched before deciding. Clip-in or Clip-On hair extensions are the safest and quickest way to acquire longer, thicker hair from all the application methods—microbeads, tape-ins, and fusion. Although permanent hair extensions are glued or physically attached to little strands of hair, there is a possibility of damage to your hair's roots, as well as tugging and irritation. Because clip-in hair extensions are temporary, they allow your hair to 'breathe' and provide your roots with an opportunity while they are not in use. Many women use clip-in hair extensions daily to get longer, fuller hair in only a few minutes at home while causing no harm to their existing hair.
MYTH #2:
Hair Extension Won’t Blend In.
False
Another widespread misunderstanding is that hair extensions won't blend in—we've all seen photographs on the internet of some dubious mixes, and we were just as baffled as you. The point is, if you pick the proper hair extensions for your hair type and practice clipping and styling them, the extensions will blend in flawlessly with your hair. While clipping and styling hair extensions yourself has a learning curve, there are numerous ways to style your hair and if any assistance is required you to get the hair of your dreams, we are here to help you.

MYTH #3:
Extension Track Will Show
False
Another hair extension blunder, and this time it's a really disturbing one!
Let's face it!
No one wants to announce to the world that they're using hair extensions, and a random weft peeping through is a guaranteed way to reveal your secret. Indeed if you move your head around during the day, your clip-in hair extensions will not be seen if they are cropped in and composite properly. Multitudinous men wear their hair extensions all night long, with no enterprises regarding wefts or tracks showing through.
To maintain your hair extensions hidden, clip them below your brow line in the 'safe zone' and make sure you have enough hair to cover the wefts.
Try our Halo hair extensions for a flawless transition if your hair is longer than your shoulders and thin to medium. Once groomed, the tiny wire blends into your hair and is virtually undetectable. If you're worried about tracks showing through your hair, the halo hair extensions might be your new best friend!
MYTH #4:
Extra Hair Will Weigh You Down And Give You Headaches.
Here – and – There
This isn't going to be a falsehood. It will seem heavier than usual since you are physically clipping extra hair onto your head. If you put in a set of 220g hair extensions, for example, your head will feel precisely 220 grams heavier. You may experience some discomfort while first clipping in and wearing hair extensions as you adjust to your new look, but after a few wears, you won't notice anything. If you have trouble adjusting to the increased weight, start with an extra weft or two and work your way up to a full set of hair extensions.
You could also consider Halo hair extensions, which have a small line at the crown of the head that inversely distributes the weight. The line rests flat on your crown, giving no annoyance or detriment to your natural hair or roots.
Hair extensions may be more painful than normal if you have an especially sensitive crown and discover that, indeed, a tight ponytail gives you a headache.
However, the answer to avoiding headaches when wearing hair extensions is to place each weft roughly an inch below your roots, rather than directly at the crown, if that's the case.
Gemeria Clip-In Extensions contain a silicone grip below each clip, ensuring that the wefts don't slide down any farther and remain placed in your hair firmly. Tease the hair a little below where you want to clip in the weft for more strength and to provide a firm basis for the weft.
MYTH #5:
HAIR EXTENSIONS GETS TANGLE AND ARE HIGH MAINTENANCE.
False
One of the most excellent clip-in hair extensions is that they don't require any salon upkeep or care. You may take careful consideration of your extensions yourself, just like you would your natural hair, to guarantee that they last a long time. Clip-In hair extensions don't get greasy because they aren't linked to your scalp; therefore, they don't need to be washed frequently. When there is a substantial accumulation of hairspray or other hair products, they only need to be cleaned every 15-20 wears.
Naturally, all hair extensions—and hair in general—are prone to tangling. The degree to which the hair tangles is determined by the quality and how well they are cared for. If the extensions are made of Remy human hair, the natural tangling should be minimal.
If your hair is prone to tangling, the extensions may naturally tangle with it; however, a quick brushing with a Wide tooth comb or detangling brush can keep tangles away throughout the day.

MYTH #7:
HAIR EXTENSIONS WILL LOOK FAKE ON ME
False
Our extensions are produced with Indian Remy human hair from South Indian temples, the highest grade of human hair available because of the cuticle, or hair's outermost layer, remaining intact and not being torn away. Together with our extensive choice of colour and weight options, we will help you find a pair of hair extensions that are a great match for your natural hair. It may take some time to master your blend in, but if you discover a colour that matches and a set that blends in, you won't have to worry about your hair extensions seeming false.

MYTH #8:
YOU CAN ONLY STYLE YOUR EXTENSIONS IN ONE WAY
False
While we adore our distinctive Indian natural waves, once you clip those extensions in, there is a myriad of hairstyles ready to happen! There are many alternatives for styling your hair, whether you want to put it up in an Ariana Grande-style ponytail, attain beach waves, or braid it like a genuine Disney princess. The clip-in ponytail extension is one of our favourite (and quickest) ways to dress our hair. Draw your hair back into a ponytail or bun, put in the extension, slip the comb beneath your hair tie (at the top of your ponytail), and wrap the Velcro base around your ponytail until it's secure. And there you have it! You've got a fashionable bouncy ponytail on your hands.
If you are also one of them who think clip-in extensions harm, damage or give any disadvantage to your natural hair, we expect some of your misunderstandings to be cleared at a certain level after reading our article. And still, if there is less to less doubt you have, you must try on our Gemeria clip-in hair extensions. Until next time!
