Welcome back and today we are going to be talking about a matter which is at the heart of all of our hairstyling - which parting suits your face?
While there is no thumb rule when it comes to how you should be styling your hair, if you need a little guidance - here's a complete package that will help you identify your face shape and will help you decide which hair parting is the best for your gorgeous face.
Types of faces can be divided into five broad categories: oval, angular, round, diamond and heart. We'll go over each one of these categories and find what will suit you best. Always remember though, that you are the best judge of what suits you and your hair speaks volumes about who you are: so while this guide aims to figure out what's supposedly best, it is always okay to go with your instincts.
Oval Face
Katrina Kaif, Beyone, Rihanna, Carey Mulligan..... The list goes on and on. Oval shaped faces are usually long, shaped like an egg with a narrow forehead and a narrow jawline; that's why a middle parting with layers is the perfect option for them.
There is more than one example of this but do you remember that whole Katrina phase where she had bangs? Uff, chef's kiss!
Angular face
Angular faces have high definition cheekbones, a pronounce jawline and a wide forehead. I personally find that so sexy and some of my favourite people have angular (square or rectangular) faces!
If you have an angular face, go for a soft side parting just like Margot Robbie. Zendaya too is a good reference for my square faced dolls - no one does it better than her.
Round face
Round faces are quite popular in India, they're circular in shape. The round face can go for either middle or side parting - depending on what you're comfortable with.
Diamond Face and Heart Shaped Face
Diamond face types have high defined cheek bones jaw lines that taper towards the chin.
Side part is the best option for you. It looks oh so charming, just look at Shilpa Shetty! Heart Shaped faces look best with side parting as well
Ultimately what matters the most is that you're having fun with your hairstyles and you're comfortable with them. No one knows you better than you.
